Do you top off with a mixture of distlled water and surfactant? De gustibus non est disputandum.

I've had the Audio Desk for over a year and have been very happy. I clean used and new records before I play them and put them in QRP sleeves for a long and static free life. I agree that that this is one of the best upgrades you can make to get the most out of your entire collection. I hear great things about the Klaudio RCM as well but think it would be hard pressed to match the combination of ultrasonics, specialized cleaning fluid and brushes of the Audio Desk design.

In between full flushes I do add a couple of drops when I add distilled water.

I make up a batch with sufactant equivalent to a complete fill then use it to top up. That way I'm using the proper mixture. I found this 1.25 gallon container with a spigot is perfect for the job. Slim and easily tucked away.

One side of my roller barrels is not engaging when I clean records. So, one side of the record gets scrubbed, but not the other. Any ideas?

Check and make sure the rollers are seated properly and the pin on the drive gears is fully inserted into the rollers.

Great idea with the premix. I may pick up one of these and do the same!

Thanks JMT. I gave them a little nudge (really just a finger push) and they seem to work fine now. Have cleaned several records this afternoon with no incidents (and great results).

This is what I use to top up my Klaudio RCM's.

I have found one retailer at $3399 - not FatWyre.
