No, Dan....I didn't forget. I was debating how to respond to this thread. I didn't make a "lot" of purchases, and the handles are of course a "cosmetic" upgrade.

In actual "gear" I only made two purchases. (both at the same time, and one was a replacement). I'd have to say getting into Blu-Ray was a good move, with my Integra DBS-30.1 Blu-Ray player. I've very pleased with that purchase.

Which is "best"? Well, let's just say I Loooooovvvvvvveeee those handles!

Picked up some 84' Cornwalls last week w/ the "Crites Package" arriving tomorrow and Tuesday.

This past weekend while visiting the in-laws I found some Analysis Plus wire to rewire the Corn's inards at Today's Audio in Flint, MI. Hope it's alot better than the 12 ga. Monster Cable I planned on using.

That's o.k. though. One of my long term goals was to get all Monster products OUT of my system.

Mine was the Lyngdorf DPA-1 preamplifier with RoomPerfect room correction. No audio component had this effect on the listening pleasure. Without RoomPerfect the Lyndorf is one of the best preamps I have heard and I heard a few including some of the best CJ's, Meridians, and Sonic Frontiers. With RoomCorrection the Lyngdorf manages to integrate whatever speakers I use perfectly in my room. People who have heard my system say they have never heard non live music this way, and these are people that are using some of the best high-end equipment available.
Definitly my best spent $7K.
