John... This is the demo unit I have coming tomorrow. If I like it there is a good chance I will be buying one in the near future.

I guess there was a miscommunication between the distributor and the dealer who arranged this home demo. The unit will be arrive sometime on Monday (FedEx).

Jeff...do you know if this is going to be a broken-in unit? The stuff I have seen on the net concerning break-in time for the AMR CD-777 and DP-777 is something int he 500 hr range.

Cyril... From what I understand, this is the distributor's demo unit. I will ask but I have a feeling it has some hours on it.

Hey Guys... I was lucky and FedEx delivered early today. After letting the unit sit for a while and warm-up, I plugged her in and am playing the 1st cd (Monk-Brilliant Corners).

I was on the phone for the second cd and part of the 3rd. It is warming up very nicely.
