The C1's would end up being 4" or less from the back wall so I would not want to order them and be disappointed. For the music I listen to, and my particular den environment, the Naim is perfect. IMHO, it is the most musical piece of electronics I have ever listened to BAR NONE. I am not saying better, just musical.
