The tapeheads may not be folks that would fuel a "movement".

They do some recording and maybe play some old quarter track tapes from back in the day and mostly work on and discuss their garage find decks.
Which is fine and wonderful for sure, however they may not be rushing to buy any $300 tapes.

It is a new group of audiophiles that will fuel the movement, they have nice systems and just want the best sound possible in their homes. They have been seeking out the R2R demo's at all the new regional Audio Shows and they like what they hear. These customers I have been seeing will buy state of the art tape decks and buy 30 to 50 tapes to start off with. These gentlemen are not tape guys at all, most have to be taught how to use the decks even. Most have nice vinyl rigs and love analog, now they want to take their analog love to a new level with R2R.

The important thing is that at every show I do I am getting more and more guys that are coming specifically to hear the R2R deck. They have lots of questions and most importantly they are buying into R2R.
