Photographer catches B-2 stealth bomber over stadium

Serg, I can see how the authenticity can be challenged, but the article is compelling.

Boeing Field is between where I am located and downtown Seattle, and our baseball and football stadium is between this as well. Plus Joint Base Lewis (Army) and McCord (Airforce) is approx. 20 miles to the South, so it’s not uncommon to see military aircraft from all directions.

If all true, this is an amazing photo and wonder why we are not seeing more of it in the press?

Not at all, these are planned in advance. He was in voice contact with the B2 pilot the entire time for these photos.

The potential for a civilian aviator and photographer to be directly above a stealth bomber and to capture a photograph is exceedingly low. To do it more than once would seem wildly extraordinary.

My gut is telling me all is not as claimed. But, if he truly pulled this off, then he’s a bad ass!

I disagree with some of the comments. I've flown high wing cessna's, taken photographs when trimmed for straight and level flight. My camera strap securely wound around my hand and holding the camera securely I've taken many very clear vertical pictures on fast exposure holding the camera through the DV (Direct View) window.
Its not impossible to hold the camera steady either. So yes it is possible.

My post must have come across a bit harsh. I also took flying lessons full scale and I fly drones and R/C airplanes, 3D, aerobatics and some pattern. I also fly R/C helicopters. I know what stunning photography and videography drones are capable of. I am also well aware of the difficulty getting permission to fly over populated areas from the FAA with drones and the repercussions of flying them without permission. Hence my first thought his son may have captured the stunningly lucky shot with a drone but without required permission which would have been next to impossible to obtain.

When I read that the photographer rolled the plane over, was operating the rudder and was half hanging out the Cessna, well, I got skeptical. Having said that, anything is possible I guess...
