Definitely Yvette if you can afford it. I think it's a nice step up.

And... be sure to get your dealer to add the larger spike diodes from the Shasta DSW. For some reason unknown to me, they really make a nice positive difference in the quality of speaker's sound reproduction. Oh yes, they also look better on the larger spike equipment as well. Good listening.

I have both Sabrina and Yvette, if I had to choose one, it would be Yvette!
Both are great though!

Is there a difference in the "overall colouration" of Sabrina and Yvette ? Bought the Sabrinas (and not the Sashas 2) because the Sabrinas had a warmer midrange voicing and a more forgiving treble end. Now I think of an upgrade to Yvettes. I like the sound of the Sabrinas and would like to have some more "of the same sound and colour". If the Yvettes would be brighter - wouldn' be the solution. So i am looking for a bigger Sabrina...

First... they are completely different speakers. My first reaction to Sabrina was, Wow... all that from that little speaker. To Yvette it was... nice, Sasha at a lower price. You need to listen to them at a dealer, back to back.
Akfaulkner should be able to describe the differences. Sabrina is probably a better small room speaker, Yvette can play well in somewhat larger rooms depending on setup. Or, go used Sasha 2. Best

Yes, thanks-already compared side by side Sabrina an the Sasha 2- and voted for the Sabrinas.
For example when you listen to a male news speaker, the Sabrina has this dark bodied meaty timbre, which I like very much. Sasha was finer, crispier, with higher resolution what's not needed in my room. So the question is if Yvette is nearer to the Sabrinas or nearer to Sasha 2 ? |

If you prefer Sabrina to Sasha 2, you will certainly prefer Yvette to both of them. |

I auditioned the Sabrina, Yvette, and Sasha DAW at local dealer with intent to buy the Sabrina. The DAW was far and away the most impressive in terms of musicality, sound stage depth, accuracy, and stability, as well as accuracy of scale related to the performance. I ended up purchasing a pair of Sasha Is for less than the Sabrina. I must say the Sashas are the most satisfying speaker I have yet to own.
