The German Show - Antwerp Nov '17

Last weekend, I went to hear the Elac Adante series.
Sammy, from Alpha High End, added yet another line to his already impressive list.
Sorry, only iPhone pics this time. My audiophile wife did'n accompany me.

The floorstanders:

It wouldn't be a German Show without electronics from that country!

I had no idea about the retail price of these beautifully finished floorstanders.
Without prejudice, I estimated them in the 12-18K category.
Very coherent image, quite deep and tight bass.
Not the last word in bringing out every minute detail, but still doing a very good job in that respect.

Sammy told me then they cost 6K.
Of course, the Reference and Top Line Burmester products helped a bit here.
But for me, this speaker is worthy of (very) high quality upstream gear.

These Elacs will compete with speakers that cost double to triple in my opinion.

Sammy always had a lot of headphones, but I see his collection is growing.
Audeze? Check!
Sennheiser? Check!
Focal? Check!
Sonus Faber? Check!

Bart i know an Iphone camera is no comparison to a DSLR but it still does quiet a good job. And what an awesome shop you have there.
