Best Sirs,

Bob
Thanks, Bob. It would appear that this one should work with my older panel. My electrician says the Eaton CHSPT2ULTRA won't with it's 50amp breaker requirement and recommended a Square D HEPD80 unit. Anyone have experience with the Square D unit they can share?

Here is what I did a few months back and posted on here, very reasonable priced as others said, plus they offered insurance assuming you met the conditions with installation and code. I ended up convincing 3 of my other neighbors to do the same, and hopefully people on here as well - this is a no brainer!

Side note, I went to a Sysco Food Service Award Ceremony at The Woodlands years ago.

Default Power Surge

Can’t do enough. While ‘enjoying’ my first summer in the Low Country of the South Carolina coast, my system is spending more time totally disconnected from everything than it is connected and playing music.

I have Square D surge protectors on my main panels and the P10 but am paranoid about lightning.

There have already been two hits to the grounds around homes in my area that took out all major appliances and TVs. Just this week.

Yup, that was my first choice (based on your post, as a matter of fact); however, according to my electrician, my old almost full panel is not compatible with the 50 amp breaker requirement.
