Patti Smith Group - Easter
(1978, Arista) mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound

I read Smith's recently published book about her early days- "Just Kids" while on vacation. a great read if you like Patti, she's an interesting character with lots of stories including a chance meeting with Jimi Hendrix outside his Electric Lady studio

Grant Green

Yep, great playing. He covers some pop material here, so there is a danger of moving into an easy listening mode the way that Wes Montgomery did in his later releases, but he avoids that with some gritty playing and arrangements.
