and I didn't notice the C2420 on the list either, but thank you Ivan

Since I began my audiophile journey I have tried various components in a relatively short time. Have to say it was a very interesting exercise to sit down and work through the progression. Apologies as it takes a while to get to the Accuphase components.

PS Audio DirectStream Junior -> Accuphase E-470 -> Dynaudio Contour S5.4
Accuphase DAC-50 -> Accuphase E-470 -> Dynaudio Contour S5.4
Accuphase DC-901 -> Accuphase E-470 -> Dynaudio Contour S5.4

My move into the Accuphase realm came quite by accident. I was looking for an integrated Amp and went to audition some gear including Luxman 509X, Pass Labs INT-250, Vitus R-100 and an AudiaFlight integrated. It just so happened that at one of auditions the E-470 was present so I decided to give it a go. Loved the sound instantly and that is where it all began for me.

Pretty much addicted to the Accuphase sound now and constantly researching Accuphase. Would love to try a Class A Power Amp, A-70/75 for example as I have never had Class A gear in my system.

Have now moved on once more to

DC-901 -> C-2820 -> A-47 -> Dynaudio Confidence C4.

Music at home is totally blowing me away now. Have to say in my experience the move to a Class A Accuphase power amp was a magical jump.

I moved from Bel Canto separates to E-470 (DAC40->DAC50) driving PMC IB2SE. Love the sound of Accuphase.

Default Journey comes to an end

I think, my Accuphase journey has probably come to an end today. I'm currently retiring and allmost all of my Accuphase dreams came true.

Last year I've replaced my DC 37 and DP-720 by a DP-750. Today a T-1200 FM tuner arrived. It's probably the last T-1200 which has been sold in Germany. I've learned from my dealer that Accuphase will stop the distribution of FM tuners at least in GE due to (new EU?) regulations which require DAB+ capabilities for this kind of device in the future to get a certification for the market.

Aha.......... now we know where Ivan got his Luxman tube rig for those lovely L300s.
Great choice, Greg. My 20wpc of Class A makes my system sound as good as it ever has. Am sure your 50wpc will makes yours sing.

The T-1000 on the bay was not good? It did look nice. It doesn't have the
wooden panels that make the Accuphase components so attractive, but
it could be stepping stone for the final destination, the T-1200.
