A dealer I spoke with (re DAC) said that in his opinion the digital cable was the one to focus on. Any how, I will probably wait for the release of Wadias new 321 decoding computer to arrive before I pull the trigger.

I know anor the USB input. But since my plan is to buy a separate DAC an USB output could have been an interesting option.

The 105 also has USB outs, but only for connecting things like external HDD, flash drives, etc. Not as an audio output.

Bear in mind the coax output on the Oppo like with all BD players is downsampled to 48kHz when playing back copy protected discs (which is the case with all the BDs I've tried). So. Pure Audio discs in 24/96 or 24/192 would be sent as 48kHz on SPDIF on the Oppo.

I know, thats a shame. But I have very few SACD's, BD and DVD-Audio. And I am sure the upgrade with a new DAC in my system will easily outperform the difference that exists between CD and SACD. Or else there is some thing seriously wrong with my set up

How would you describe the general character of the WW cables? IMO the Nordost usually add an airy top with a nice sparkle while Transparent are meatier with a nice bass slam.
I know there is no simple answer to this as it has a lot to do with integrations with the rest of the system. But I'm still curious on how you would describe the WW signature - if there is one...
