I’ve never tried Weller’s, but it’s at nearly every liquor store and grocery store I visit. Picking up a bottle for tomorrow night.

Default A couple of bourbon recommendations...

I misspoke. I was thinking of Kessler. Weller’s isn’t easy to find. Apparently 90% of Weller’s is sent to Texas. The distributor told my guy that only 4 bottles made it to Wisconsin.

Went to Minneapolis today and picked up some Angel's Envy. That Basil Hayden Rye looks really yummy.

I endorse and agree with all of those choices, Dave! I'm definitely milking my stock of Pappy's as well, especially my 20 year as I haven't been able to acquire any more for the past few years...

Very nice!

Another one I've bought recently that I'm working through is the Bib and Tucker small batch bourbon. Like the Blanton's, it's not super complex but it's mellow and easy to drink...

I've also been trying out all of the various Jefferson's bourbons, including the Old Rum Finish, Groth, Pritchard Hill, Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes, and Chateau Pichon Baron Cask Finishes. They are all very different and very interesting takes on barrel finished bourbons.

Reviving a thread. Bourbon had lead me into drinking Rye. Love rye.

Had some Bulleit rye tonight. My favorite so far has been Michters Kentucky Straight Rye.

Wonderful gift (a manly bourbon).
