So, that means necessary drama is okay.

I thought most of the drama here on AA was in the form of:

Tu-be or not Tu-be, that is the question..

Tube or not tube– that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
Solid State or the outrageous heat ,
Or to take arms against..........

Is it kind?
Is it True?
Is it Necessary?

With the AA community growing, and new members coming on board daily, it is essential that each of us self moderates our posts with these three guide lines in mind. This is the root of the formula that allows Audio Aficionado to maintain its open, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere, where all of us can contribute, learn, and most of all enjoy our friendships.

I am the first to admit that every now and then I am guilty of developing a little attitude about one point or another, and I can toss barbed hooks with the best of them. Ultimately it serves no positive purpose, and changes no one's mind. I learned from my experiences, and will continue to make an honest effort to be considerate and courteous. I said this to make a point. We all have moments when our nerves become grated. It is a natural first reaction when feathers are fluffed to start taking shots in defense. The Audio Aficionado community is really no different than life in general. For us to coexist harmoniously we have to channel our energy in a positive way, even when we find ourselves in disagreement on a particular subject. Self moderation is the key to our success. Remembering, and heeding the three points above will go a long way toward insuring that Audio Aficionado remains The Friendly Forum For High-End Audio.

That's my nickles worth on this lovely Wednesday morning.
Dan, you have always stated your points with great respect even with a little attitude. I think I know what brought this on, I did see a post that was really uncalled for and a little disrespectful, a first for me on AA. So the friendly reminder is warranted. Just be nice even with a little attitude is ok!!! This is our forum and Ivan is nice enough to run it for us.
