I haven't seen Diablo 300s sell for $9K in the US yet. The novelty has worn off and prices have dropped a bit but I am thinking a slightly used one will sell for around $10k to $11K. By way of reference, I sold mine a few months ago for $12,000.

What is your personal opinion of the Gryphon 300 sound quality?

Vitus sia 025.
Compared it to gryphon diablo 300, really close but ended up with vitus.
Gryphon is much faster, has better slam and more dynamic. Vitus is sweeter in the mids, and to my ears much more resolving and vitus is much more forgiving with
Badly recored cds—more listenable thus can be played longer.
If you’re a tube guy before? Vitus is an easier transition to solid state—just my opinion.

I know this is an old thread but don't forget VAC amps. As good as it gets from what I've been told and what I've read. Never heard one though...until this coming Saturday. I'll get to audition a VAC 170i integrated.

I heard the Vac statement integrated at RMAF 2018. It was probably best of show. Just amazing.
