Default Mapleshade Samson v.2

just received 4 boxes from mapleshade containing my new stand and have been peeking inside each one. beyond my expectations is all i can say. we're in the process of moving into a new house so all theses boxes are piling up. i HAD to open the BAT integrated & Krell cd player boxes to send in the warranty cards but had to box them back up. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!

i have a question; how many of you consider an equipment rack another "component", and how many $'s are you willing to spend on it? (ok, 2 questions)

Hi,

How are you liking the Samson rack?

I love the Samson. I replaced my Grand Prix Audio stand with the Samson as the Samson was clearly a better performer in my system of McIntosh MCD205/C42/MC252. Of course, different gear may not receive the same benefit.

Samson is a great equipment rack. I've had great results with both McIntosh and Conrad Johnson equipment. I really liked the results from the 4" maple turntable platform under the TW-Acustic Raven 2 turntable.

Only complaint would be the feet under the MC2102 left 4 black circle stains on the maple shelves. Did not have any issues with the C2300 or MCD201.
