I also agree that humidity is a factor in getting good sound. I live in a dry area and when we get rain storms I get excited. The system tends to sound better when we have moisture in the air. When its raining and the system is playing I get pulled into performances more than usual. The system is just more inviting than normal.

I think that I am the biggest variable in how my system sounds. Some days it sounds great and others no so. I usually attribute that to something is just off with me same as when food sometimes just tastes off. I think our mood and what's going on in our lives definitely affect our perception of sound.

I have to agree. There are days when I just don't like what I hear at all... thank god these don't come too often..

Since our moods constantly change, it shouldn't surprise us that what our listening experiences..can vary just as often...
