I am intrigued by your use of the MLs. Do you use high and low crossover points and are you able to maintain the Aerial sound till the deepest bass? I've noticed better dynamics and since my Es hit 21hz,much tighter and coherent delineation of bass notes. Reason I ask is you also have the ability to use crossover to gain more bass but not compromise the sound of the 7s. Thanks for your input!

Greg,

Lucky for me I stumbled on Aerial speakers. One of my friends took my to Audio Concepts, a high end audio store in Houston, and they had the Aerial 7B's on display. I ended up buying the floor model on their annual sale and have enjoyed them ever since. Glad to hear you did your homework...

Very nice room you have created there. I like your taste in equipment and your Aerial 7T's are stunning. I am sure you are one proud owner.

Thanks for the photos...

Cheers,

Thanks guys. I took a leap of faith when I got mine. Read some superlative reviews on them and was all set to make the 4 hour drive to the closest dealer. A like new pair came up at a nice discount off new msrp so I pulled the trigger. One thing I have found to be true with them is they are VERY revealing. I took time placing them properly in the room and they made it worth the effort. Very happy owner here.

I have a pair of 7Ts coming in this week. The B&W 803 D3 did not play well in my new AV room.

Good luck with the 7T's, Greg!!! I'd sure like to hear how things turn out for you with the switch to the Aerials.

I just had to come back and re-read these threads. I still have my 8B's with the crossover mod, bi-wired with Acoustic Zen Satori cables, and they are connected to the MC501 amps. I love 'em dearly but can't keep from wondering just what the 7T's would sound like connected to them.
