Thanks for the pics.

Best sir,

Indeed a great time Bob. These events are invigorating but I really enjoy doing them with Bill McKiegan. We always get great sound and what could be better than a "Double Billing?" As Marc will attest, a joke that went over like a lead balloon last night.

Patience is a virtue they say Marc. Hang in there -- while you wait, you may want to google WA Alexia uncrating -- their is a web page that has the nice manual or portions of it -- describing everything from uncrating to peeling the frisk, to array, set up, and much more -- ear height calculations etc.

Best

Bob

P.S. I'm not going to rain here -- but mine, which arrived Tuesday -- are still in crates. Unboxing today in about 12 hours.

That would have been fun but I was on a plane by then.

As of yesterday, there are only 3 production pairs that have been delivered to dealers and distributors world-wide. That also started to change yesterday as the first production pairs beyond the Debut pairs left the factory.

I think Wilson Audio is falling into the easy field of marketing.
Too many changes in a short time.
In the meantime my TAD's CR1 are still a reference.
Solid concept=large life.
Just my two cents....

Nacho I think you are a little bit unfair to Wilson.

Alexia 1 was released in 2012. A product life of 5 years is maybe not long but it's not short either.

Please correct me if I am wrong but I think TAD CR1 was introduced in 2010. In 2013 CR1 mk2 was launched.

Wilson speakers normally have product life of 4-5 years. I think that's fair in today's economy for companies to survive, invest and progress. Not everyone's dad is rich like TAD's and Raidho's.

By the way I am not saying anything bad about TADs, both CR1 and CR1 mk2 are great reference speakers you can keep for life. Just like Alexia 1.

Love and respect.

Hi parkcaka.

Sorry but i'm not trying to be unfair.
I respect Wilson as other brands, but i don't share the permanent upgrades of many brands.
TAD was forced to introduce de MKII nomenclature only because it was imposible to purchase the original woofer material.
The MKII is 99.9% as the original. It was an eventual change contrary to TAD whises.
So the MKII is the most aproximated speaker to the MKI. Not in reverse.

Regards.
