Default Back to Wilson?

I'm seriously thinking about going back to Sasha's and Mezzo center for my theater.

Dan, I touched on that in the Sonus Faber theater thread. I really miss Wilsons! Today was a very productive trip to my dealer's. I listened to the Strads with a Bryston 14B like I have, I listened to Sasha with the Ayre MX-R again and D'Agostino amp back to back. Let's just say I changed my mind right there and then even though I have always loved Strads... I love Wilson more!!!

So where would you go for power, then, Serge? I'm assuming that the Brystons wouldn't be the match you'd want, right?

Right... There is that break in period and then I'll have to ultimately decide. Guess what Paul has in mind? Three D'Agostino Momentum monoblocks... Too much money.

Serge...you should have kept the ARC for the Wilsons. That would have been a good match I think I agree with Robert, I think the Bryston with the Wilson is going to be perhaps a problematic match.

Cyril, too many tubes for HT/music application. Too much heat as well, I mean I would have to run 3 REF250s! I need SS for this project. I can use Bryston for the time being and see where it takes me.

Burmester should work very nicely with SF.

Yes agreed. I thought about that after I posted the previous message. For sure, SS makes sense here.
