I have ordered a custom 2.5m Furutech powerflux Cable that will be used from the wall socket to the Daytona 303 conditioner. I cannot wait. Its being shipped from Japan on 11 June.

Its going to be a long settling process. It has been reported that 1000 hours are required before it settles properly

I changed my speakers to YG Kipod 2 Signature main modules, which I am using with my JL F112.

These speakers are the most musical speakers I have ever owned or heard.

It was not an easy decision changing from my fantastic Vivid K1’s to a small stand mounter, but these YG’s are astounding in their neutrality, coherence, and how they connect one with the music. Transparency is to die for!

I have never come across speakers that convey the emotion of the music as these. I always thought my k1’S were lacking in that specific area.
I am crossing over to the JL at 65 Hz and gain set at 10 O’clock on the sub. Integration with the sub is seamless at these settings.

I was amazed to discover how easy it was to set them up. No endless fiddling to find the sweet spot. It made me an instant fan of acoustic suspension designs

I am ecstatic with these speakers, and totally in love with the sound. The YG’s also integrate better in my lounge. Attached a few pictures

Nice room like the rugs not easy to open that chest with one speaker leg setting on it. Big step down to the tv room. Have you tried the Burmester phono

Thanks Garth. The room sounds very good with excellent bass. The chest is specifically there to supplement the system

I would love the Burmester phono. It's on my bucket list!

Wow Douglas, that is quite a change!
It all looks very good, that's a really nice room.
Very curious about your long term findings with the YGs.

Thanks Bart, It is indeed a drastic change. I still have the K1's but so far I prefer the YG's. The musicality is off the chart, simply astonishing. The YG's cannot play as loud as the Vivids, nor can the YG's hold a candle to the dynamic impact of the Vivids, but the Kipods are more natural, more involving and has a sense of ease and flow that is a step above the Vivids. The YG's renders the human voice better than any speaker I have heard thus far. I am still in the evaluation phase, and will keep you posted.

I got a really awesome deal, which is why I bought the Kipods. I had no plan to get rid of the Vivids, but now think I might sell the K1's.

It took a while, but I managed to integrate the F112 perfectly with the YG's. The magic, surprisingly, happens at a crossover of 70Hz!

It is now the best sounding system I have ever had. The musicality and involvement is astounding. Bass with proper integration of the sub is now better than what I had with the Vivid's.

I cannot tear myself aweay from the system, it's become a bit of a problem

The 911 seems to be a dream match with the Kipod 2's. as well

The dealer who sold me the speakers came over for a listen, and he could not believe what he heard, he just shook his head and said that it never sounded this great in his demo room.

The unbelievably high level of engineering and parts quality is reflected in the sound quality. I wonder what the bigger models sound like!

I never thought my dream system would be made up of small stand-mount speakers. It just shows, dont be fooled by size! I recommend these speakers unreservedly provided you have a good sub

Douglas, you have discovered the "monitors for imaging, subwoofer for soundstage" magic formula for normal size rooms. Congrats again!!
