After some listening sessions, I would probably go to the Evos...

Has someone heard that there will be a new guarneri soon ?

Jazzvinski... have you considered Marten speakers. Faster than SF but still delightful midrange. A little less forward than Magico, and they are European.

BTW I've had all three speakers in my house. At the moment its still Marten and Sf.

No, the Evos are the new design language, and I would not expect them to be changed for some considerable time.

Given how much you loved the Memento, but you wanted to move to a faster, more accurate sound, the Evo seems an excellent choice. Amati Futura would probably work in your room size as well. Ignoring the difference in price, which would be best would depend on your room.

Dali Epicons are pretty good - I prefer the new generation SF, and think the Epicons are closer to the Memento style voicing, but they are an alternative that you may like.

Focal Utopias are another option, although they have seemed tricky to set up, and always slightly sterile to me. I have only heard the Diablo and Scala (which are probably the 2 most relevant to you), and I suspect not with amps that suit them, and the latest versions have improved crossover designs which probably address the issues I have had with them.

I have been listening to Marten (Getz) a lot recently. They have a purity of sound which is attractive, but to me (as someone who likes Guarneri and Amati a lot) there is an innate leanness to the Marten that is there regardless of amps used, and which I find dissatisfying over the longer term. Also, while I would enjoy the 50% of my music collection that is well recorded, the other 50% that is just average would be unlistenable on the Marten for me. But I completely understand why others love them.

I have not heard the higher level Dynaudios, but would probably try to if I could.

Listen to as many options as you can. Then buy the Evos, LOL!

Good luck!
