Bob, if you don't mind me asking, what rack system is that? Looks really good, I'm looking for something just like that in a single. Sorry if this was posted somewhere previously.

The gear has been on nearing 22 hours continuous - and they are almost as cool as a cucumber to the touch -- barely, i mean barely warm.

During the dinner hour, played a favorite and cranked it up mid level, not boisterous mind you, but mid loud i call it and everything is soooo much better than initially.

The soundstaging/imaging is jumping into place and feel there has been a very nice & marked improvement in the airy upper extension. Delicate & open.

The bass has a fast/quick punch which is quite remarkable.

Btw, there is another in the household who is super happy with the dan d'agostino monos/preamp::d

Mike -- I had a audio friend who owned a plastics manufacturing plant on Ohio and he CNC'd the shelves from 4x8 sheets of 1 inch black acrylic. A friend of his machined the spikes/top caps & uprights; drilling the upright centers for threaded studs.

Unfortunately he succumbed to bad health years ago & sold his business.

It's very heavy and each shelf is extremely strong -- I'm not sure of the max weight; but, I know I've stood on the 1st and 2d shelf.

He used to sell them on the 'gon' & now & then they pop up used.
