I ordered one of these as well. After about ten days of the website saying my Yggy was “still in production” I emailed and asked for an ETA. Here’s the response I got:

Thank you for your order. We are sorry for the delay. The Yggdrasil
experienced unexpected production delays which has pushed back production
time. It could possibly be a couple weeks before the order ships, however
if we are able to ship sooner, we will. Tracking information will be
emailed at that time.

No doubt the delay is due to outsourcing many of the components that go into the build. When you can’t or choose not to manufacture in house, you are at the mercy of your suppliers. Even the larger companies can not possibly manufacture everything in house. Schiit is a small company. Will just have to be patient.

Do you mean a holographic like presentation with palpable/focused imaging? Even Gungnir Multibit was quite good at it. In fact, one evening while indulging in my favorite adult beverage, I experienced 4D effect where I was sucked from the listening chair into the soundstage and was one of the members of the jazz band. Don't recall which instrument I was playing but it all sounded pretty damn good!

Dan, they don't call me "The Oracle" for nothing... I should listen to my own prophecies more closely though and should have ordered a YggY the first day your review hit the AA pages!
