Herman Miller Lounger Is In The 2 Channel Room
Ok group hug. People have different prioreties so we should respect where they spent their money.
I own one of the 999 50th anniversary eames loung chairs and I have been using it quite a lot the last 10 years. This model has really soft nappa leathor and the wood is santos rosewood. Planning to send it back to the factory to be reupholstered - this would be $$$ - and then thinking to either stop using it or sell it. This chair is now worth $20k+ so I can get new one for $5k and keep the rest.

I remember him in his 70s as he would walk barefoot in the snow 2 miles each way with two buckets of water to bring the water from the mountain spring when he had running tap water in his house. He said it keeps him in shape. Then he would shovel 2 tons of coal that would be delivered and wouldn't not stop until he was done storing all the coal in the shed. Eames chairs.. HA!
