Default What are you Reading or Read?

We Gotta Get Out Of This Place: The Soundtrack of the Vietnam War
- Doug Bradley & Craig Werner

A great read, especially if you came of age during the Vietnam War and know the music. Also a good companion read if you’ve been watching the Ken Burns documentary on the War.

Stephen King - The Dark Tower Series. I’m about finished with book 4. Typical, brilliant Stephen King writing. He’s referred to this series as his magnum opus.

I have just finished the series, just great start to finish, book 6 is a little slower than the others. Wolves of Calla is my favorite too bad the movie was such a Turkey

David Sax pens a great read for anyone interested in the reasons why all things "analog",especially vinyl, are making a big comeback.

The Second World Wars by Victor Davis Hanson - for anyone who has read a bit about the war, this is a capstone read, being organized thematically vs. chronologically. Highly recommended, as is just about anything by VDH.

I’m nearing the end of book 7 - The Dark Tower. I didn’t see the movie, I assumed it was lacking given the casting.

Do yourself a favor and avoid it, don’t allow it to sully your reading. I am almost done with the spin off book, The Wind through the Keyhole, also very good.

Yup, I already have The Wind Through the Keyhole audiobook and will commence listening to it upon completion of book 7.
