Thanks for the writeup on the Marshall Tucker Band. They were one of favorite bands when I lived in Florida back in the early 70s. I was an installer at United Telephone System in Ft Myers for several years and a bunch of us young hippies followed them around like groupies. We traveled up and down both coasts to see them play anytime we could afford the gas and tickets. I can't begin to count how many MTB shows we attended but they never failed to bring a smile and remind me what live music really sounds like. I still listen to them frequently all these years later. Glad you had a fun time and thanks for the great photos. I really enjoyed it.

Terry....I was surprised how good the show was. I may have had some preconceptions about it, knowing there is only one of the band founders still with us. How could they still have the character of the original band? All I can say is, they still have it. Doug Gray talked a bit about it, he said people often ask him "How's the new band doing?" He just laughs it off, since all but one of the current band members have been with him 20+ years.

Parts of the show were pretty amazing....and the sound was great.
