I see, the wording was a bit tricky or maybe I am just slow today.
I am very happy with my pair. Jim, did you spend any time listening to them? |

I just re-read the review and I suggest you try and pick up the issue to get the full flavor of what they are saying. Just as Serge was unsure of the meaning of of the quote I previously posted, sometimes sentences can be taken out of context.
Here are some general compliments: ** Where are you hiding the Maxx's. Meaning these speakers do many of the things the Maxx 2's did so well in an much smaller package. **The move to the new mid range driver brings it in line with the Maxx above an Sophia below. It gives the Sasha almost an electrostatic transparency in the mid-range. **The Sasha's did not require but easily handled the Krell 900's and would roar but with subtlety and gusto. **The Sasha is the Studio Monitor that we wish every studio would use because they would make better music in the process. **It is hard to compare large scale speakers because getting them in a room together is almost impossible. They would probably sound best set up in the same location. ..... We can draw parallels and this reasserts Wilson's place at the acme of speaker design at this price point. It was never in doubt. (My comment now, I think that is what I said about a week ago. If I was looking for a speaker at this price point the Sasha would probably be it) Again, you may want to get the issue for those interested. Jim Last edited by Still-One; 10-29-2009 at 02:20 PM. |

Yes. I have spent a few hours on and off with them. They will be set up at tonights event at Paragon along with the Maxx 3's. I am not sure how they will be powered since Larry usually has Krell 600 and McItnosh 2301's set up. He will also have some Doshi gear being demo'd but probably not with the Wilson's. I could easily live with the Sasha's but I would not trade my MBL's for them. |

There are plenty of other great speakers out there that I could find synergy and work around with different gear but I am truly happy with my Lamm gear. This is the first time I can honestly say it gives me everything I ever wanted or expected from high end audio. Lamm/Wilson combo is simply superb. Doesn't mean everyone will like it since we all perceive things differently but man does it "float my sonic boat". |
