BTW, just turned 70 on Dec. 23rd. Two years ago my Doctor told me I was overweight and needed to lose weight. So, I started riding my roadracing bicycle. I now ride every other day for 1.5 - 2 hrs straight without fail; unless it rains, I never miss. My fitness has really increased and I now average >18 mph on the bike for the entire duration of my ride. I also do a 7-minute daily workout and walk 2.5 miles in the nearby hills the days I don't ride. Since starting my riding and training, I've lost 35 lbs, and I'm in now slimmer, fitter and better physical condition than when I turned 50. And, here's the other thing...riding the racing bike makes me....happy.  For 2024, I'm also going to find a local Pilates class as well.
