Klipsch CW III's pushed by 1.2KW of McIntosh Power. No need to go to 11, 1 should be enough and then some.

Isn't there a thread dedicated to McIntosh in the media -- movies, TV -- or is it this one? I am watching on Amazon Prime (Harry) "Bosch," the detective series based on the books by Michael Connelly. Bosch, having sold one of his case files to a movie company, has for a police detective a great apartment in LA. In it, he has what looks like an MX110 and Mc225 or Mc240 on either side of his turntable.
It is "Bosch," Season One, Episode 10, titled "Us and Them," at about the 11:00 mark. https://www.michaelconnelly.com/ Last edited by MisterBritt; 07-16-2017 at 10:44 PM. |

Newly Integrated Family Room System
Recently moved and integrated my McIntosh system into the bookshelves of the new family room. I'm happy with the aesthetics and it's nice to have a more integrated look with the room than I had with the separate equipment rack previously. The big benefit came with moving my turntable to the stability of a built in shelf. It is far more isolated from vibration now than it was on a high quality equipment rack and I can handle bass at high volumes (even with the Gotham at full boil) without suffering from any detectable low frequency feedback. I'd recommend looking at turntable isolation solutions like wall mounts to anyone with a turntable, it really is one of the best sonic improvements you can make for vinyl playback.
