Hi Jérôme,

Wow! you are certainly on your way to opening up your own store while I am selling off unnecessary equipment. Congrats - please keep us updated as I am very interested in your thoughts on the Rega. I like it myself.

I need more time to analyse what I'm hearing but the Osiris is a great amp.
It reminds me the VERDIER 845 monoblocks, without the shortcoming of low power....
Will post more in a few days.

In his review of the Osiris, Jeff Dorgay stated " tremendous amount of bass weight and control " ( Tone Audio # 26 ).
That is true.
The Osiris will kick the ass of many high end separates when it comes to bass grip, extension, resolution and dynamics. Including my C1000P / 2301 combo
and they are not kiddies.
The Osiris makes Music. Not only a tremendous bass.
It smokes a darTZeel CTH8550. At less than half the price. Ok it's not golden. But the sound is. . It also explodes a C1000P / 501's when it comes to bass.
I love it. It is a tremendous amplifier. It controls my PMC like no other amp I tried. And I tried a few amps.
SS : McIntosh MC501's, Naim NAP250/2, Audiolab 8000PX, ARC100.2
Tubes : McIntosh MC2301's, Manley Snappers, JC Verdier 845's.
Too bad it has only one XLR input !
I just listened to the MDA 1000 using the balanced inputs so.....
More to come with vinyl and the REF 2......

Jérôme.......For its minimalist outward appearance, the Rega Osiris sure packs the parts inside.

I have to correct this right away.
One of the key design of the Osiris is that it uses a passive preamp. So a tube preamp stage would cancel this design. It is probably not going to happen.
Going to listen to this beast again....
Dan and other fans of pics : don't worry, I took a lot of them !
