Question B&W Factory Jumpers

I am wiring directly to the mid and tweeter of a B&W speaker and jumping to the 2nd posts for the 8" drivers. I'm currently using the factory jumpers but I wonder if there is any value in adding higher quality / beefier jumpers. Since distortion doesn't really matter, its more about transfer of current.

I ordered some AQ PSC Jumpers to replace them. They also offered some silver jumpers for twice the price but it seemed to be that the benefits, for this application, would be very limited. Any thoughts?

I think you are on to something here - spending a boat-load will likely not prove to be overly value adding. However, I think high quality jumpers will definitely help. I am a believer in staying in the same family/line. So matching your jumpers to your speaker cables will help out, I think.

Did you try factory jumpers before swapping them out or did you just use the Synergistic immediately?

If you are talking about the gold metal one's that come with them. Yes, for a few years, then I bi-wired them, that made a really big difference to me. Synergistic Research cables work very well with B&W speakers. I never used the jumpers with the B&Ws. With my Joseph Audio I went straight to SR Jumpers and the Element cable instead of bi-wiring them, again also a nice difference from what I heard at my buddy's house with just straight SR and factory jumpers.

I just use the same wire for jumpers as my main speaker cable and it works a treat!

I got these jumpers from AQ in today, they took almost a month to arrive. They actually look really nice. I guess I'm going to sell them now since I'm using bi-wire cables but these jumpers are good quality. (not sure how they would stack up against the nordst)
