Default SF Cremona Auditors & crossover hz??

What do you think (experience) the best x-over is, for the Auditors and JL subs?
I currently (today) use 80hz.

But some have suggested going higher.(100hz to 120hz)
Others, the distributer, says cross low, like they do with the REL subs.

Its a music only, 2 channel system.

Thanks

I agree with Sonus, go low.
A 80hz crossover (or higher) is not a brickwall. You will have sound coming out of the sub at 160hz and 320hz, less and less as the octave increases. How much depends on the slope of the x/o. Let your ears be the judge. I found that lower works best with my Guarneris.

Without an active crossover, I would try to cross over low since you can't control your speaker's bottom end and the interaction they have with your room.

I have an external X-over.
So is the consensus to cross low, 50hz or less??

As stated, I am at 80hz now.
My ears can't decide for me. Every source has me moving the x-over for a day, then I think it sounds better somewhere else.
I am a serial x-over changer...I need therapy..

So I will take those who have better experience then myself, and leave it.
