for less you can get the Sony PCM D100 with recording.

With this you can take your Digital and archive your Vinyl.

I have not listened to the A&K*

I'm sure it sounds great and is superb at recording, but it's not going to be very comfortable with it tucked into the back pocket of a bicycling jersey, which is one of the ways I intend to use mine!

Just got my A&K AK100 II today! I've been loading it up with content while listening to it!

Will create a new thread for this topic.

Please do create one. I'll join in. I've had my two for a good 7-8 months. I don't leave home without one. I use a pair of IE Shure SE846 with a copper balanced cable as well as a balanced pair of XLRs to my kitchen MX60.

Congrats. You are in for a treat. AK has great support too. If you have questions, you can call them. Ask for Jimmy at x108.

Merry Xmas!

How do you connect it to your car? The instructions manual state that car audio is not supported and I've tried and failed to connect it to my Mercedes via bluetooth.

Thanks.

Will do...I just got some cool photo-related gear for Christmas, so I am setting up to do some tabletop photography while I am up at my sister's place. A Yongnuo 560 III speedlite, and a speedlite softbox, and wireless triggers.

Why not 3.5mm stereo cable?

If you want to use it in the car, I'd probably use the 3.5mm jack. You would lose quite a bit of the quality you pay for trying to use it with Bluetooth.

Can you help me out and point me to a reference that demonstrates Bluetooth's short comings?

I try to explain Bluetooth vs Analog in to my friends and I don't have a leg to stand on other than I heard it on the internet.
