It's all Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond this morning... Several different CDs from them.

Oscar Peterson, "We Get Requests"
Verve V6-8606
Analogue Productions/QRP 45 RPM remaster (another in the Verve series of 25)

This is one of the best sounding LPs I've ever heard, and one of my favorite jazz albums to boot. The music is a chick magnet.

Analogue productions/Quality record pressings is reissuing the original two Verve albums in 200 gr 45 RPM vinyl remastered from the original analog tapes. The first one, "Ella and Louis" is out and sounds fantastic! The second, "Ella and Louis Again" is on the list but hasn't yet been scheduled for release. Looking forward to getting it.

In all, the project of 25 Verve reissues includes 5 Ella albums. I think it's a bit too heavily balanced towards Ella, but they do sound great.
Thanks for the link!

I was just looking for this on SA-CD.
3 editions of it.
Has anybody experience with the sound on each?

The vinyl I mentioned used an original 3 track tape for mastering that was never previously used, and it is a fantastic mix. It is also the source for the Analogue Productions SACD.
