I am in love with this little device. I typically avoid listening to vinyl during the day (I home office) because I would get on a phone call and forget to lift the stylus. So I just got in the habit of only using digital during the day. This little device is the best $60 I have ever spent. It works perfectly and allows me to not worry about running to the table every time a record ends. Anyone else using The Q Up?

Your right about devices like these being very handy. I never used the Thorens but have used a device from Expressimo Audio called the "Lift" on a Rega RB300 arm many years ago.
I dont think it's being made anymore.

I have the Q Up on one of my tables and it works like a charm. I just have to be very careful to remember to reset it when done with the side. If I lower the tonearm to start another side and have forgotten to reset the Q Up it will push the tonearm off the edge of the record.

Also I found attaching it with a little Blu-Tak instead of it's own sticky surface works well and let's me remove it easily or adjust it.
