Looks like it's going to be a lousy year. It's bad enough that Ferrari are not doing well, but it's even worse when McLaren is in front. I don't mind any of the other teams, but McLaren ... ugh.
I'm undecided on whether i'm even going to turn on the TV tomorrow.

Anything can happen in that first corner! I'm a long time Ferrari F1 fan, so as you can imagine, I'm not necessarily happy with Alonso's and Massa's grid position for tomorrow. But, the one thing I was not ready to see this year was another dominant year of Red Bull.
I stil feel its going to be good and exciting year with the "ugliest F1 cars" in memory. Mike |

Ferrari struggling. Alonso and Massa not very happy... Check out Felipe's facial expression... We'll see what the race brings. Anyone staying up to watch at 2am Eastern time?

I was an Alonso fan and NOT a Ron Dennis fan, until Stepney-gate.
Now it's reversed. Take Lewis Hamilton, PLEASE! JB is the better human. Ferrari lost me when they kicked Schummi out.

Serge - Not staying up. I'm going to record it on my DVR. Watch it in the morning with a couple of cups of good java.

Judging by the less than stellar qualifying by Ferrari, I guess I can wait until tomorrow afternoon to watch the race, I'm sure I am not going to miss much.

Ferrari didn't kick Schumi out. He announced his retirement, remember? Then he stayed around with Ferrari for a few years as a consultant, before he decided he wanted to re-enter F1 as a driver with Mercedes. He asked Ferrari for permission, and it was granted.
Just looked out the window. Lots of clouds, but doesn't look wet ... yet!

Great race for Button.
Lucky race for RedBulls - they both gained positions thanks to safety car. Unlucky race for Lewis - first lost the start to his team mate, and then lost 2nd to Vettel as safety car was deployed. Good to see Wiliams fighting in the top of the mid pack - 2011 season was a nightmare for them. Mercedes not as fast as appeared after the Quali. Alonso did a great job driving an udrivable car. Massa may not last the season. A great season is coming ! |
