My favorite vette since the classics. Good choice with the manual.

Congratulations on the C7!

The new styling certainly is edgy and it will take some getting used to. I've seen a few on the streets here and I'm beginning to warm up to the design.

As a 3 time Corvette owner I have to admit that they have finally addressed some serious shortcomings with respects to the interior.

Good luck with the car and keep us updated on how things go as the miles pile up!

The car looks great from the front and sides, but that's about it for me. The rear end and interior, not so much. Sorry, just my opinion.

I hope you enjoy it and do be safe.

My wife and I were talking sports cars last night - I am a Porsche fan/driver but I am starting to get curious about something front engined with lots of torque and the Stingray is pretty tempting.

Congratulations on a beautiful car and color. It looks like fun!
This car has much more low rpm torque and feels much faster then my 911. In first gear in a eye blink time interval you get to 4000 rpm and your doing 50 mph; crazy fast and your just gettIng started. The sport exhaust sounds fantastic. This engine has 460 ft pounds of torque. To get this kind of performance in a Porsche convertible you need to buy a turbo . Since I don't drag race it's more about how the car handles and accelerates in and out of the twisties. Surprisingly this car handles better than any of my Porsches . Porsche is a great car and for obvious reasons has become an icon but I think I may be a American muscle convert now. The electronic steering is better than I expected. The tires are very soft and little pieces of gravel get embedded in the rubber which probably accounts for the traction I've noticed. The magnetic ride suspension is wonderful and really makes a difference.

I have always preferred a manual stick to a automatic in a sports car. There is something about the driver involvement that makes me feel like the car is a part of me and vise versa. You feel more involved with driving experience
