That's a good move. I subscribe to the DirecTV Premium Choice package including their high def channels. Lots to watch. I enjoy CSI in high def, and Cold Case Files. Love Discovery Channel in HD, too, and the Science Channel. I have five receivers, four in the house, and one in the travel trailer. Beats the heck out of the old days before satellite.

harry33.......I have two 52XBR9's, and I am thrilled with both of them. The picture quality is amazingly sharp and clean, and blacl levels are excellent. I don't miss my old Pioneer Elite Pro510HD at all.
