For those who want to learn more about the science behind some of the choices some manufacturers make, I found two good, easy to understand, read. More about drivers and alignment choices.

I find the Nietzsche quote quite appropriate to this thread, minds will not be changed here

I have previously owned vivid giya g3 bfo upgrading to wilson sasha 2, i have
Also listened to magico a3, s3 and s5 before deciding on my sasha 2. They all
Have their strength and weaknesses, meaning there is no slamdunk winner.

The one strength that swayed me to my sasha 2 is its ability to give me
Timbral accuracy (instrument colour) and speed that both vivid and magico
Fell short.
Vivid is so monotone sounding to my ears that i got easily bored, it also has
Some degree of cabinet coloration that bothered me a lot, but vivid is the king
Of micro and macro dynamics that both wilson and magico cant match.
To my ears and needs, it was a close call between wilson and magico.

I have a pair of Vivid Audio Giya G2 S2s and have the exact opposite experience with mine versus Supermerio. The Vivids are extremely fast, dynamic and effortless. I've heard 3 pairs of Vivids and they all have these attributes. A year or so back I was also looking for my next speaker and listened to quite a few (Wilson Alexa, Magico S2 v2, Vandersteen 5s, Evolution Acoustics, YG Acoustics, Rockports and others). Of the bunch the Vivids were the most musical, effortless and seamless (driver integration). A close second and maybe on par were the Vandersteens. All other had one or more sonic flaws to my ears.
