Bob
That is a beautiful transition from the mid 90s to 2017. Great job by you and your wife.

Thank-you Kevin & Randy -- words cannot express how happy we are with how it turned out. Like any contracted out project, the final product rests heavy on the crew. In our case, they were truly craftsmen of their trade and strived for perfection with their sense of pride (the niche for instance was built and not a hardened formed foam insert -- the latter being the easier task -- and in fact tiled the niche frame; but didn't like it & tore it out and recut & re-laid the tile. Then the access to the garden tub plumbing and motor -- magnets didn't work as we hoped; and came up with a great solution should access ever be necessary). Besides the overall scope, it was the small things too which they addressed as trade professionals.

Best Sir,

Bob

Bob-

Nice job!
We built our house in '89 when I was moonlighting a second job with a contractor.
Since there have been three major renovations/alterations in different areas.
Although I want to be done, my wife wants a renewal of our master bath. That means a gut to the studs and subfloor.

Sharing your project gives me encouragement. BTW, how does one donate to Habitat for Humanity?

Thanks.

Thank you -- we love how it turned out & reassuring it was a quality job by 3 brothers who have a passion for perfection. I still have a hard time accepting the fact the glass was more than the tile; but, that's how it shook out (glass had to be hardened and supplied/installed by a separate company -- 30 plus years experience).

To donate to Habitat for Humanity, I went to their local web page and there was a donation page which I filled out (after reading their guidelines on what they accept). I don't recall speaking with anyone -- but, you could call your local office to do the same.

Best Sir & good luck --

Bob

Bob-

Tempered glass is very expensive and there is a real trick to fit and finish. Your overall cost for a master bath re-hap was excellent and most importantly you guys are very pleased!

Enjoy!
