Each outlet has its own breaker thus two dedicated 20 amp circuits on the same phase.

Some more progress today as well, trimmed out the window Next up removal of the popcorn ceiling and redo the baseboards and door trim. AA for the paint color I'm undecided. I was thinking beige but that seems boring. But I'll need something that goes with the carpet color, beige (see last picture).

Don.......A nice soft medium green would be very nice in your sound room. It is soothing, peaceful, and will compliment your carpet. I'm thinking a color similar to what I used in the control room side of my studio.

Same same here (using a shade or two darker lower (below the chair rail) to give it some contrast).

That green was used in insane asylums for precisely the same reason- kept everybody calm.
Don't ask me how I know this.

For what it's worth, we've had lot's of fun with paint over the years. In our last house, which was an old spanish revival made entirely out of poured concrete, circa 1911, we had the painter strip the walls in the living room, then do a perfect plaster job over the concrete walls. It was flawless. Then we had him distress the walls, so that it looked like the lowest floor of a venetian palazzo- sort of ruined, splotches of venetian marble showing through what looked like years of paint that had peeled away, and gotten moldy. It took the guy well over a month to do that room.
When we put the house on the market, we got some interesting reactions. I'm sure it was painted over by now, but it was very cool.
I have some large format pics of the room, which have not been digitized but at some point, I should have them scanned, and upload them. It was a great house.
We like paint and there's lot's of very cool stuff on the market these days.

Don, I would suggest to test a small sample of whatever color you think you like on your walls before painting the entire room and having your wife tell you she doesn't like it and put on a different color. This has happened many more times to me than I wish to admit.

Today I pulled off all the baseboard trim and door trim and got rid of and old nightstand I was using next to my chair, plus I offed an old bookcase. The only thing that remains in the room are my two Salamander stands and an easy chair. I walked around the room and clapped and realized the room is pretty live.I'll definitely have to treat this room.

Before you buy any treatments put your furniture back into the room it will make a dramatic difference. I thought I would need treatments but a couch, ottoman and curtains are my current treatments.......
