Default TEO Liquid Cables

Currently I am auditioning cables from Teo Audio. These cables utilize a conductive liquid slurry instead of traditional wire, and are unlike anything I have ever heard. There is a review at 6 Moons. Have any AA members had experience with them?

I bet they have a tight bass, warm blooming midrange and the treble has more air than the state of Montana!

Grey Protein:
"I bet they have a tight bass, warm blooming midrange and the treble has more air than the state of Montana!"

Grey Protein said it well, even if he hasn't had the opportunity to hear them. I hope it was not meant to be a cynical remark. More info is found at Teo's web site, and in the 6 Moons review.

My dealer told me these things are terribly overpriced and...the best cables that he has heard. I would love to hear them .

It's true- they are crazy expensive! You have to choose, "do I buy a pair of speaker cables, or do I buy a car!"

Yeah, it WAS a cynical remark.

That review was nothing more than one anecdote after another. I don't take well to them.

I remember hearing liquid encased signal cables at a demo at a NY Audiophile Society meeting back in the 80's - Myles was probably there- back when Chuck Lamonica was alive. Do you remember those, Myles? Can't remember who made them.

Can't say that I do. But I do remember a water cooled amplifier from Germany Man, I was praying that sucker didn't spring a leak!
