Default Denali 6000t breaker switch question

Hi all,
Just got it today and was wondering if the switch need to be switch off after finishing every listening session and switching off the components.

When i had my Denali i kept it on all the time. I don't think you need to switch it on and off constantly.... If you are away for a very long period (vacation) or during thunderstorms i would consider turning it off.

far better than 'flipping the switch' would be to unplug, no way will the switch alone protect.

If I remember correctly Shunyata's manual indicates you should flip the switch prior to plugging/unplugging. I would have to reread it to confirm.

As you note unplugging when you are away (or subject to a lightning storm) is always better

Tks guys for all the replies. Everytime I switch it off my ARC dac9 settings goes to default.
I shall keep it on.
