Default Custom Kimber Select termination.

Here's a photo I took earlier today. I need a pair of interconnects to go from a soon to be acquired ARC PH6 (RCA outputs only) to a Boulder 810 (XLR in/out only). Originally I was going to have an older pair of KS1130s reterminated with RCAs at the input end. But Kimber felt it would be cleaner to use a pair of KS1030s or KS1036s terminated with XLRs at the output ends. And don't you know I love an excuse to pick up some new cables!

Sure I buy Kimber Select interconnects because I like the clean full sound. But these are truly gorgeous cables to hold and look at. It's too bad they'll be hidden behind aluminum boxes.

AeroSmith....I use Kimber Select 1136, 1036, 1026 and like yours mine are hidden behind a cabinet. They are beautiful cables and oh man do they ever sound so good. They bring out the best in the equipment and don't color the sound. Congrats on your new cables and enjoy the sweet sounds Don't forget to post pics.

Dave, you have excellent taste. I've been using mostly 1130s. I just upgraded the pre to amp cable in my main system to a pair of 1136s however. The 36s are noticeably more detailed than the 30s. And while the 30s are amazing I'm somewhat tempted to go 1136s all around, or, at the very least, for my DAC7's outputs.

Another shot. I'll try to take some photos of the WBT-0102 Ag RCAs tomorrow. They're jewelry in their own right.

AeroSmith...great picas good as the 1030/1130 interconnects are the new 1036/1136 are on a whole new level. I have the 1030's also and use them on the DVD-A but the new versions are amazing to say the least.

The WBT-102Ag's are beautiful, can't wait to see the pics. You do know these are standard on the 1036?

Some cables are definitely display-worthy. Too bad they are usually hidden out of sight.
