Maybe it's a good thing I don't have the space or the budget for these beasts.
Pete, you should pull out all the stops to get the amps for your horn speakers. 900 watts per speaker will really make them sing.

Bill....
believe me, there would nothing I'd like more than to own a pair of these beauties. But even if I could afford them, I don't think I can accommodate them. I would be okay (I think) in the width and height department, but the depth of these beasts (29-1/2") is a problem. My system center's table top is pretty deep at 26", but that's still shy of the depth needed for these. They can't sit in the middle of my living room floor. Also, my speakers are not set up for bi-amping, though I don't think making that modification would be that difficult.

These amps really need a dedicated room large enough that they can sit on a pair of large, dedicated custom amp stands....and I just can't do that in my listening room.

JBL dd 67000 owners would be in heaven having a pair of 901's to drive the speakers. A perfect match.

RaceCarDriver.......Thanks for the cool photos of the MC901. Looks like a proud group of people doing the assembly work. That amplifier is huge.

As i am currently in possession of a pair of MC2301's (in system) and MC601's (boxed) I may have to recreate the amp to some extent and see what the results are. The obstacle is getting the amps down a flight of stairs to the listening room and back up again as well as reboxing them.
