ARC HD220 or DS450 stereo?

My hunt for a really good but affordable summer amp continues. Anyone own, heard, or have any info on the HD220 or DS450 amps? Speakers are inefficient, but easy 8 ohm load, Kipod II sig. Soundstage, detail, desity of image are important to me. All tube front end BAT P10/REX. Is the DS your average digital thin sounding amp?

Found a review on Agon on the HD220 from around 2 years ago. May have to cross that one off my list.

I have a DS450. It has enough power to drive my Revel Salon 2s which need lots of power. It is a very musical and dynamic amp. It is Not a thin sounding amp. I have it paired with the ARC Ref5 SE line stage. Very nice.
