I too can/will recommend the Ekornes products.
I used to have an Eames chair, and I really liked it. Out one weekend a few years back looking at sofas and sat in an Ekornes Vegas and fell in love with it. |

I had an Ekornes Orion. Super-comfortable chair but the back, even though adjustable, was too high.
I bought a replica Eames at BJ's Wholesale club when they were clearing them out for $250. Nowhere near as comfortable as the Ekornes but I loved the look and the backrest only came to shoulder height so in that regard it was perfect. Lived with that chair for about 3 years. Decided to upgrade to a nicer replica. I went with Rove back around Thanksgiving. Very well made - to the same level in materials and build as the Ekornes. So far so good - I read the good and the bad on Rove as well but my experience to date has been great with both them and the chair. |

I went through a number of different chairs over the years and have finally settled on this beauty by Lazy Boy. It cost $2200 when I bought a few years ago. It has improved with age and in my opinion is the perfect listening room chair.

My Eames chairs, kept in bedroom temporarily out of the way of grandchildren.

There is nothing more beautiful than the Eames chair, but if you look for comfort... Thats not the one.
