Figured I'd skip the Silver this time and go straight to Platinum based on reading here on the forum. Cable should have been here last week but UPS did a return to sender after 3 attempts to my dealer. I was not happy!

Thanks all for these reviews. Time for me to also dump the 15 ft cheapo USB for a real one. This helps explain the connection drops that have been occurring!
 When looking at the WW Platinum or Silver USB, their site says 2.0 but also says tested at 10.2 Gbps, which is as fast as the new USB 3.1 standard. I'm sure this is oversimplifying it, but I wonder why these are labeled 2.0 when they match 3.1 speed ratings. Found speed info under "USB.org --> SuperSpeed USB --> Developers tab".

Ryan.......Glad to see you took the leap of faith and dumped the el-cheapo USB cable for the Wireworld Platinum USB cable. I leaped from el Belkin 2+ years ago to WW Silver and it was great, night to day upgrade
Well then about 3 weeks ago a relative of mine was dumping some gear and made me a crazy low ball offer on a 1.5m WW Platinum in the case slightly used maybe 100 hours on her. I went for it thinking maybe a little better than the Silver or maybe I would not be able to even tell the diff. Well to my surprise I would say that the overall separation is so much better, and that the top end of the most top end high notes seem to be so much cleaner and just float across the room in a 3d array of sound. Heck, even the bass seems a little tighter and the mids I would have to say are the selling point, voices are CRYSTAL clear. My take is that I am 1000% sold on these cables.
