Default c2300 and subwoofer

Which outputs can I use on the c2300 when connecting a "powered" subwoofer to it? Answer not in my manual.

I use REL T7 subwoofer with built in 200watts amp. It connects to my tube amp (Mc275 LE output directly after my c2300 sends the signal using REL high level input connection. For 2 channel audio this works great as the sub is receiving exactly what the main speakers are getting.

If were me, I would use the XLR 'Main' outputs for the MC275MkVIs and the '1' outputs (either XLR or RCA) for the sub. Will assume you have the standard x-over and volume controls on your powered sub.

Bill.......By using either Speaker 1 or Speaker 2 outputs on the C2300 instead of the Main output, you will have the ability to switch off the output to the subwoofer if you desire, either using the switches on the C2300 or from the remote control. Having this ability helps tremendously during the setup process as you try to smoothly integrate the subwoofer's output into the main speaker's output.

I use main XLR's for the MC601's and the "1" output for each of my JL f113's as master each. One for left and one for right sub on my c2300

This is how I initially hooked it up. (per the quotes above). I feel the wood floor vibrate at one low frequency. I am also going to experiment by hooking to the other outs ie 1 and 3 so I can turn it on and off. Stupid question. Is the reason my sub sounds like "one" low humming frequency because "it is ancient and not high high end" (paradigm ps1000)

Ok I figured out how to remote control outputs "1" and "2'. Have 275 balanced to mains and sub to output 2. The remote I have HRO73 is different than whats in the c2300 manual so it took a while. Now I can listen with and without and thats very helpful to the set up.
Thanks
Bill

Do you have the sub directly on the floor? I think you can use a base to lift it up and try to decouple the sub from the floor. That should remove some of the vibration. Maybe add a carpet too?
